The brothers Coorevits, better known as Compact Disk Dummies, take you on a unique, night-long trip with “Dummies After Dark”. First, they will perform as Compact Disk Dummies, their energetic live act with a characteristic mix of dance and pop and which uses synths, heavy beats and catchy vocals to light up the dancefloor. After their set, Lennert and Janus turn into Silver Sisters, their funky alter ego that will offer a hot DJ-set full of nu-disco, house, funk and remixes of their own.
From the very start, Compact Disk Dummies have seen it as their mission to get their audience dancing and that’s clear from their latest album “The Signal”. Teaser singles ‘There’s No Sex Without You’ and ‘fomo’ already paved the way and were very well received by radio stations and the audience at festivals in Belgium and the Netherlands. “The Signal” is their third full-length album after “Silver Souls” (2016) and “Neon Fever Dream” (2020). The band can be regarded as “big” in Belgium, while their star is still rising in the Netherlands.
“Dummies After Dark” promises to be a night in which live music and DJ skills flow into one another. Compact Disk Dummies, both in a familiar way and in a new one.
