You may know Mando Diao from their worldwide hit ‘Dance With Somebody’. The Swedish rock band released the successful album “Bring ‘Em In” in 2002, which gave them a lot of fans.
Mando Diao was an instant fan favourite because of their catchy songs drenched in pop, rock and even a whiff of punk. Exciting and successful performances at major festivals like Pinkpop and Lowlands followed suit. After having released an album in the Swedish, language, the band, which has two front men, is now bringing their catchy and sharp song-writing back to English.
Björn Dixgård – with his powerful voice and guitar-playing – and Jens Siverstedt (guitar, vocals), along with their friends Carl-Johan Fogelklou (bass), Daniel Haglund (keys) and Patrik Heikinpieti (drums), have been responsible for the band’s successes for years. After a relatively long hiatus, the band is now back in 2023 with a new album and a European tour that also brings them to Doornroosje.
