Folk rock band Tide Lines, who hail from the Scottish Haighlands, are coming back to Nijmegen for a show in Doornroosje!
The four-piece band comes from an area known for its wide landscapes, dark skies and robust nature. It is not a coincidence for this folk-rock group to have a similarly robust sound with Gaelic influences. The band, which consists of Robert Robertson (vocals, guitar), Alasdair Turner (guitar, Ross Wilson (keys) and Fergus Monroe (drums), released their debut single ‘Far Side of the World’ in 2016, which was a hit in Scotland. This was followed by albums “Dreams We Never Lost” (2017), “Eye of the Storm” (2020), and the recently released “Glasgow Love Story” (2025). On this album, we can hear the Scottish folk influences that the band loves so much, which are combined with engaging rock music and a hint of indie pop.
