Dear Omen & Nils Keppel

Dear Omen is a three-headed, heavy-hearted gothic rock band from Amsterdam. The band mixes fearsome organ sounds with heavy bass lines and ruthless drum rhythms. Their sound and extravagant live show was a hit during the most recent Popronde, which made them one of 3VOOR12’s favourites. They kicked 2026 with a rousing show at Eurosonic Noorderslag and are going out on tour this spring. Dear Omen is turning into one of the most interesting new Gothic Rock stars in the Netherlands.

Now that the post-pandemic years are over, Nils Keppel used lessons learned during the period to create his most uncompromising work to date. “Super Sonic Youth” is a debut album that puts the spirit of a youth spent too fast into supersonic sounds. In between urgent riffs and organic drums, there’s a sound that manages to be timeless. “Super Sonic Youth” is the monument of a generation that smiles in the face of disaster. Nils Keppel’s music is about dreams and a little bit of hedonism in the End of Day era.
