Donny Benét is coming back to Nijmegen. After his impressive debut at Valkhof Festival, a fully sold-out show in Merleyn (2018) and another sold-out show at Openluchttheater De Goffert (2022), “The Don” is now coming back for a show in Nijmegen.
With his band, he has toured all around the world several times. He released five albums, sold tons of t-shirts, sweat bands and other gadgets. The new album “Infinite Desires” is the very first release on his own ‘Donnyland Records’ label and his sixth album. Other than this new work, Donny will also play some of the biggest hits of previous albums, including ‘Konichiwa’ and ‘Santorini’. Donny has been referred to as the favourite cousin of Giorgio Moroder, Alan Vega and Michael McDonald. He hails from Sydney and first came to attention with his debut “Don’t Hold Back”. His fourth album “The Don” resulted in a breakthrough to a wider audience.
