Parker Griggs (Radio Moscow) is coming to Nijmegen with his new band El Perro for an exclusive club show. El Perro mixes elements from psych, blues, stoner and funk to an irresistible cocktail that is best served right after it’s made.
In 2022, the band released their debut “Hair of El Perro” through Alive Records. This is the label that also released their Radio Moscow albums, as well as put The Black Keys on the map by releasing their debut. Parker Griggs is capable of creating tons groovy riffs, seemingly effortlessly so, and throws in fiery solos for good measure. His vocals complete the full package. Fans of older acts like Jimi Hendrix, Mountain and Santana will find a lot to love here, but also fans of more contemporary bands like Black Mountain, All Them Witches and Ecstatic Vision should pay attention. Calling this a recommendation for them is an understatement.
