The Lathums
Led by their excellent singer and guitarist, Alex Moore, English band The Lathums is uniting the best brit pop history has to offer through their energetic and melodious indie rock, including elements from Arctic Monkeys, The Housemartins, The Smiths and The Libertines.
Their debut album, “How Beautiful Life Can Be” (2021), made its way to the top of the album charts in their home country. This also resulted in interest on the European mainland, which led to The Lathums being featured on ESNS and Lowlands in 2022. In 2023, second alum “From Nothing to a Little Bit More” came out that had a more diverse sound, including a foray into sixties pop through the track ‘I Know Pt 1’. Last February, their new album “Matter Does Not Define” came out, which featured singles like ‘No Direction Stellar Cast’ and ‘Long Shadows’. After a successful show in the small hall of Doornroosje in 2023, the band is now coming back for a performance on our biggest stage!
