Any new band can only dream of the body of work of Belgian band Whispering Sons have created ever since their debut “Image” (2018) came out. The reviews of “Image” were very positive. They played some of the largest stages at quality festivals, plus they sold out their entire Belgian tour.
Whispering Sons plays a unique combination of hectic and experimental post-pink. By combining elements from new wave, industrial and avant-punk, they have created a ruthless rhythmic whole with a constant urgency through its repetitive instrumental sections. The words and vocals of front woman Fenne Kuppens also add another level of excitement.
After the success of their first record, the successor “Several Others” came out in 2021. This album gained them even more fans and connoisseurs. Whispering Sons is returning to stages now to emphasize their status as a must-see band. New music is on the way and “The Talker” is the title of the brand-new song that’s available online now.
