Courtney Marie Andrews

Courtney Marie Andrews is a singer-songwriter from Phoenix who, despite her relatively young age, has made no less than seven albums so far. The American artist creates gorgeous country folk that’s both raw and melancholy but is always firmly rooted in Americana. She has been writing songs since she was fourteen years old and released her first album aged eighteen.

Her songs were noticed by Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World (among others) with whom she shared a stage for a number of duets. She also lived in Belgium for a number of months and performed with Milow. During this voluntary exile she also recorded the album “Honest Life”. In July her new studio album “Old Flowers” is coming out, a fragile record that she wrote after a break-up of a long-term relationship. The album was produced by Andrew Sarlo who also worked with Bon Iver and Big Thief. Courtney Marie Andrews is also accompanied on the new album by Twain’s Matthew Davidson and Big Thief’s James Krivchenia.
