Statement Beyond the Black:

“It breaks our hearts to write this:
We need to postpone the remaining tour dates in Hamburg, Antwerp, Oberhausen and Nijmegen.

Yesterday Chris, our guitarist, has to undergo an emergency surgery due to a retinal detachment which means he needs to stay in the hospital for several days. There is a real risk of losing his eyesight and his health has to come first of course!

At the same time, Kai is still recovering from a serious influenza and it remained unclear whether he would have been able to join the final shows.

Facing two serious health issues within such a short time leaves us honestly overwhelmed. Believe us when we say: this hurts – endlessly. We‘ve been pushing, hoping, trying to make it work somehow, because playing these shows for you means everything to us. But at this point, postponing them is the only right decision.

Please keep your tickets for now. We are doing everything we can to reschedule these shows and come back as soon as possible.
